BANPAC is a regional collaborative of public and private organizations involved in nutrition and physical activity promotion for communities in the Bay Area, especially low-income communities.

BANPAC was established in September 2003 and is comprised of agency representatives from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties who are committed to community empowerment, decision-making, and action through active collaboration.

BANPAC is funded by the California Nutrition Network for Healthy, Active Families, Project LEAN, and other partners.
